As someone who lives and recreates in Utah, you are in a unique position to care and make a real difference for wildlife. What you do really does matter.
Human development and recreation in wildlife habitat can create conflict between people and animals. When wild animals come into your yard or neighborhood, they have simply found something they need for survival such as food, water or shelter.
Minimizing conflicts is more effective when the entire neighborhood works together. Prevention is the first step!
Wild Aware Utah offers free trail sign files (in PDF format) to park departments, cities, counties, visitors centers, nature centers, homeowners associations, trail monitors and the like. These signs can help people learn about some of the wildlife found in your area, how to enjoy their outdoor experience safely, how to avoid conflicts with wildlife and who to call if they do experience issues.
The first sign is a generic Wild Aware Utah Design, and the second sign provides additional space in the bottom middle for you to add your own organization’s logo and contact information, if you wish.
